                     4-H Summer Sewing Days
                                     Sponsored by the Breathitt County Extension Service

  

July 14                           Unit I Sewing Project,   “Get your sewer’s license”
                                       9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Ages 9 & up
                                       Make a drawstring purse, a pair of shorts, or a skirt

 

July 15                           Unit II, “Make a skirt or pants with a zipper”
                                       9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Ages 9 & up with sewer’s license

 

July 16                          Pajama Party, “Make a custom pillow case, pajama pants and other sleep-over accessories”,
         9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Ages 9 & up with sewer’s license

 

July 18                         Sewing Sampler, “No experience necessary”                       
                  9:00 a.m. – 12:-00 noon, Ages 6 and up

 

July 18                         2:00 p.m., “4-H Sewing Showcase” and Reception
                 Public invited

  

Registration is required to confirm your space.   Project kits are available for purchase.                                                  

There will be no charge, if you provide your own fabric.  Call the Extension Office at 666-8812 for a list of supplies.

          Summer Feeding breakfast and lunch will be provided. Class is limited to 8 per session.  You must register in advance to attend these classes, so call 666-8812 today to reserve your spot!
