Directions to Breathitt County Office

 

 

Here are directions to the Breathitt County Extension Office.  There is additional parking, if needed, in the city lot across the street.

 

From Lexington and points north and west, take I-64 East to the Mountain parkway past Winchester.  Exit the Mountain Parkway at Campton; you will be on Highway 15.  Travel south for 20 miles to Jackson.

 

Go through the first traffic light by Kentucky Fried Chicken, 2nd traffic light at the Citgo Station.

 

Turn right at 3rd traffic light by Rite Aid.  You will go past the drive for Breathitt High School.  Turn right at the next light and you will be on Main Street.  Watch to the left.  You will pass the back side of the Lees Campus Library, a brick classroom building that used to be Kentucky Farm Bureau, 2 little brick houses and a law office.  We’re next building.  Look for the UK Blue awning.

 

From Hazard and other points south, take Highway 15 north.  Travel 30 miles from Hazard.  You’ll go past Quicksand and the Robinson Experiment Station.

 

The first traffic light is at the Wal-Mart Shopping Center.  Turn left at the 2nd light near Pizza Hut onto Main Street.  Follow this narrow road on past the next light just past Variety Pizza.

 

Watch to the left.  You will pass the back side of the Lees Campus Library, a brick classroom building that used to be Kentucky Farm Bureau, 2 little brick houses and a law office.  We’re the next building.  Look for the UK Blue awning.
