Farmer’s
Market Children Program Beginning
Friday, July 11th and every Friday throughout the Bath County
Farmer’s Market Season, Bath County 4-H along with the Nutrition Education
Program will be hosting a Children’s Program.
The program will start at 11:00 am and will last about an hour.
Each program meeting will be based on Nutrition and Fitness.
All ages are welcomed and if a child attends they will receive items to
take home. The Farmer’s Market and
Children’s Program is located at the Bath County Agricultural, Education, and
Marketing Center on US 60 East, towards Salt Lick.

Microwave Magic Cooking Day Camp This day camp will be for pre-teen/young teen to learn safe ways to prepare foods in the microwave. Join 4-H and NEP on Wednesday, July 16th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for a day of fun and learn some tips on cooking. The location of this Day Camp will be at “The Clubhouse”, located behind the old courthouse, on South Court Street, Owingsville. You must pre-register for this day camp at 606-674-6121, 4-H Office. Deadline to register is Friday, July 11th, only 20 participants will be permitted to attend, and the registration fee is $5.00. We will prepare a meal completely in the microwave. There will also be a movie, popcorn, and game time. SKATEPALOOZA III Friday, July 18, 5:30 pm Bug Hunter’s Day Camp You will be able to
answer that question and a whole lot more after the evening of hunting,
classifying, and labeling the critter’s you catch.
On Thursday, July 24, 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, we will do some day and
night time hunting to start a collection or just to have fun doing so.
The camp fee is $5.00 that covers snacks, drinks, collection box, pins,
and materials. Youth entering 5th
grade and above are allowed to signup for this day camp.

only 20 participants will be permitted to attend.
All activities will be done at
the Bath County Agricultural, Education, and Marketing Center on US 60 East,
towards Salt Lick.
