IALR NEWSLETTER
The IALR Newsletter is an integral part of the IALR Information Exchange Network. IALR depends on news items contributed by its membership, as well as other individuals concerned with land reclamation. This will provide a global perspective of research and practices on lands disturbed by mineral extraction and processing.
Four sources of information are recognized:
· ● International and National Meetings
Selected abstracts for papers and posters presented at these meetings may be submitted to the IALR Editor as they appear on the manuscript.
· ●World News
News items from journals, newsletters, magazines, and newspapers often present non-technical news regarding mined land reclamation. Individuals can clip
t them and send them to the IALR Editor.
· ● Publications
Send a brief abstract with the bibliographic information to the IALR Editor on books, handbooks, manuals, on-line publications, etc.
· ●Reclamation Supplies
A brief abstract describing laboratory equipment, plant material, soil amendments, erosion control products, electronic equipment machinery, etc. should be
sent to the IALR Editor
The deadline for contributions is September 1, 2007. Donations to cover printing costs are welcome.
The IALR Newsletter is distributed to all members listed in the IALR E-Mail Directory. Copies can be obtained from the IALR Editor.
