We help communities resolve locally determined problems with objective information and educational assistance.  We also develop community leadership potential.  We help communities determine long-range programs of action on such issues as economic development, community service, land use, solid waste and community resource management.

Marva Gill, Agent for
4-H/Youth Development, was very instrumental in the establishment of the Anderson County Burgoo Festival and plays a very active role with the committee.  

Debra Parrish, Family & Consumer Sciences Agent, established the Inter Agency Council and remains an active council member.  She also serves on the Anderson County Community Education Council.

Anderson County is presently without an Agriculture/Natural Resources Agent; however, all agriculture related subjects are being taken care of by the staff at the Anderson County Extension Office by contacting neighboring county Extension offices and UK specialists.
