Community & Economic Development
We help communities resolve locally determined problems with objective information and educational assistance. We also develop community leadership potential. We help communities determine long-range programs of action on such issues as economic development, community service, land use, solid waste and community resource management.
Marva Gill, Agent for 4-H/Youth Development, was very instrumental in the establishment of the Anderson County Burgoo Festival and plays a very active role with the committee.
Joan Martin, Family & Consumer Sciences Agent, responds to nutrition, budget, health and home related questions from the community.
Tommy Yankey, Agriculture/Natural Resources Agent, answers all agriculture related questions that may arise.
