Dairy Production
The Adair County Cooperative Extension Service annually offers a one-of-a-kind program for dairy producers called the Center of Kentucky Dairy Short Course. The Center of Kentucky Dairy Short Course is a collaborative effort between Adair, Taylor and Green County Agriculture Agents. Producers can enjoy the comfortable atmosphere of the program where producers are encouraged to become engaged in the program and make it their own. Each year, subjects are chosen by a committee of dairy producers representing each county. The program consists of three sessions and a field trip.
The Adair County Cooperative Extension Service also offers forage testing, ration balancing, budgeting/planning, and many other services to dairy producers.
