Becoming a Shelby County Homemaker

There is a place for everyone in the Shelby County Homemakers! Join a Club or become a Mailbox member and receive interesting lessons each month, attend Homemaker events, and even go on short trips! This is a wonderful way to fellowship with other women in the community and make life-long friends.

First Saturday Walk Abouts

One of the best kept secrets of Shelby County is the First Saturday Walk About! On the first Saturday of each month we gather at 8:30 am at the Clear Creek Park Family Activity Center for a short morning walk. This is open to all Shelby Countians and those who participate receive a FREE one day pass to the Family Activity Center (valued at $5-$6!).

Monthly Sewing Circle

This is an open sewing time from 3-8pm on the second Tuesday of each month. Adults can receive help with sewing projects. Sometimes special projects are taught. Youth can attend if accompanied by an adult. (Will not meet in April.) Consider attending the Sewing Expo! Click here for details.

For more information on any of these events, please contact our office.
