We have the answers to your questions. The Madison County Cooperative Extension Horticulture program provides educational training and technical horticulture assistance to the community. We are a provider of research-based information from the Kentucky Land Grant colleges; the University of Kentucky and Kentucky State University.

Free Soil Testing Program Continues through November 30, 2009

The Madison County Extension District Board, Tri-County Fertilizer and Propane, Southern States of Richmond, The Allen Company, and other local agribusinesses have teamed up to offer free soil testing this fall during the months of September, October, and November for Madison County Residents.

The normal $5 per sample charge will be waived. Agricultural and Horticultural samples from Madison County residents, will both be accepted. See the informational flyer about this program for details.
