The Teen Leadership Academy program is a combined effort between five Lincoln Trail Area counties including Breckinridge, Grayson, Hardin, LaRue and Meade Counties. Eligible applicants must be incoming 8th-11th graders. Applications are reviewed and selected by area 4-H agents. Five applicants will be selected from each county to comprise a group of 25 4-H teens for the    2011-12 class. The TLA program consists of day-long sessions once a month during a school day from September to April. Students are excused to participate in this 4-H program. TLA also includes an overnight retreat, to be held in September or October.  A registration fee is also required of those selected. Last year's fee was $40.00.  Each year applications are due in early August.
