Soil Testing & Diagnostic



The Grayson County Extension Service offers a wide variety of testing 
services available to you.  Some of our tests are free or have a very minimal
cost, while others range in price, depending on the type of test performed.

Soil Samples - agricultural, commercial horticulture, home garden, 
home lawn & turf, greenhouse & container nursery.  Pick up a
supply of Soil Test forms and boxes at the Extension Office.
The cost per sample is $6.00.

Animal Waste - poultry litter and manure.

Feed Sample
-
animal feed, hay, silage and fresh forage,
TDN (total digestible nutrients), protein, fiber, and minerals.

Soybean Cyst Nematode Analysis

Water Testing - We test water for irrigation, livestock and plant bed purposes only.
We do not test to determine if water is suitable for human consumption.
