The goal of the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is to educate limited resource people with young children to acquire knowledge, improve skills and change behavior necessary to achieve health and well-being. It has effectively increased the families' ability to manage a limited food budget and select more nutritious diets.
