The goal of the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is to educate limited resource people to acquire knowledge, improve skills, and change behavior necessary to achieve health and well-being. EFNEP has effectively increased the families' ability to make helathy food choices on a limited budget, select more nutritious foods and expand their physical activity to achieve and maintain good health.
