SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH/TORNADO WATCH

 Monitor warning information on weather radio and weather.gov website

 Notify all staff of possible severe weather

 

SEVERE THUNDER STORM WARNING

 Monitor warning information closely on weather radio and weather.gov website.

 If excessive winds (70 plus mph) are observed, notify staff to go to storm shelter area.

 Office Building: Basement

Extension Annex Building: Board Room

 

TORNADO WARNING

Notify all staff to go to storm shelter area immediately

Office Building: Basement

Extension Annex Building: Board Room

 

FIRE ALARM

Notify all staff to exit building immediately

Check in at rear of Dr. Bowles Office

Call 911

 

STAFF NOTIFICATION

 Dial 3, 4 on phone to make announcement via intercom

Announcement will be heard on all phones in both buildings

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 Phone system will not operate during power outage. The phone stored in the emergency supply cabinet in the basement can be used to by-pass the electronic system. Plug into phone jack in basement.

 

EMERGENCY SUPPLIES

 Located in cabinet in basement. Contains water, first aid kit, blankets, bleach, plastic sheeting, duct tape, radio, and flash lights.
