EFNEP
SNAP-Ed (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) is a federally funded nutrition education program and conducted by the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service.
The program teaches families how to:

achieve and maintain good health

make heatlhy food choices on a limited budget

prepare and store food properly
The benefits of the NEP is to:

improve use of food dollars

increase physical activity
-
increase number of children eating breakfast

be informed of healthier diets that reduce the risk of chronic diseases
